Private lessons give any student ample opportunity to learn at their own pace with their own style and goals. I believe in tailoring music choices, times, location, and learning style to each individual student!
Vocal coaching includes tools any singer needs to master control, develop excellent pitch, sight sing, utlilize languages, and connect with your audience with polished performances in any style.
How Long Should My Lesson Be?
30 Minute Lessons - $30
Best for younger musicians ages 4 - 10
1 Hour Lessons - $40
Best for intermediate to advanced students, vocalists, and adult students

As with any aspect of music, I believe in flexibility and options. Please give me a call anytime if you have questions or don't see the option you need.
Where would I be having my lesson?
My Home Studio
The majority of my students enjoy coming to my home studio for lessons. My beautiful Yamaha acoustic piano, top-of-the-line Roland RD700 GX Performance Keyboard, online music sources, and relaxed atmosphere provide a great space for learning.
On-the-Go
In some cases, having a lesson in the student's home or alternate location works best. It all depends on available instruments and drive time!
After over 30 years at the keyboard, I have experience accompanying in just about every location for all types of soloists and groups. I specialize in playing for vocalists, choirs, and musicals but I am more than happy to accompany anyone either long-term or for a one-time shot!
How much does an accompanist cost?
Fees vary depending upon prep time needed, rehearsal time involved, and length of production. Please give me a call and we can talk about your needs and budget!
Would you be able to fit my event into your schedule?
Advance notice is the key and I often book events well into the future to "save" that slot for performances. I try to be as flexible as possible and welcome any questions you might have even if your production doesn't have an exact date yet!
What type of solo performing is your specialty?
As a classically trained musician, my solo performances are mostly requested for weddings, funerals, business parties, dinners, intimate settings, and environments where live music is the "classy" touch to an event. Musical styles range from classical, popular, broadway, oldies, and holiday music to new age and jazz standards. One of these days I should add rock piano to my style, but I have to be honest and say it isn't my main focus!

Small Gigs to Full-Scale Musical Productions
A music director can be responsible for something as small as preparing a holiday concert to producing a full-scale musical. I have the experience, contacts, and knowledge needed to help any organization put on a fun, successful production.
Please give me a call to chat about your production and see if we'd be a good fit!

Rough Cuts, Practice Recordings, Demos or Finished Quality
It isn't uncommon for vocalists and other soloists to need a recording musician to assist them in creating the perfect demo for their career or to create their own recordings just for fun and family! I have experience in the studio and enjoy arranging many styles of music to create just the right sound for the situation.
Hourly rates apply to studio time and additional fees may be added if signifigant prep time or rehearsals are required.
